Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros, E.P.E. (hereinafter, CCS) is committed to make its websites accessible, in accordance with the Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7th September, on accessibility to websites and applications for mobile devices in the public sector (hereinafter, Royal Decree 1112/2018).

a) Non-compliance with the Royal Decree 1112/2018.

Some pages have the following accessibility errors:

  • Heading structure: Sequences of headings of the same or higher level have been detected with no content between them. This can make navigation difficult for users with assistive technology, especially screen readers.
  • Frame titles (iframes): Technical iframes have been found without meaningful titles describing their purpose for users who employ assistive technologies.

Overall compliance of the pages, with the exception of these errors, is level AA.

Enforcement procedure

If, once a request for accessible information or a complaint has been made and this has been rejected, but you do not agree with the adopted decision or the answer does not meet the requirements set forth in article 12.5, the interested party may initiate a claim. Likewise, a claim may be initiated in the case that a period of twenty working days has passed without an answer having been received.

Claims may be presented through the Generic Instance of the Electronic Offices of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprises, as well as through the other options included in the Law 39/ 2015, of 1 October, on Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations.

Claims will be received and dealt with by the General Secretariat of Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros.

Optional Content

A new version of the www.consorseguros.es website was published on 24 January 2024 with a commitment to usability and accessibility.

In the construction of this new version, the previous accessibility reports have been taken into account as a starting point for improvement in this area.

With this goal in mind, the development of the site has been based on the accessibility criteria included in the Website Accessibility Initiative of the Consortium W3C and according to the methodology of the UNE Observatory Report, in accordance with the Accessibility Observatory methodology, based on the UNE-EN 301549:2019, with the aim of complying with level double AA.

In this context, work has been carried out with the following orientation:

  • Improved accessibility: measures have been implemented to ensure that this website is easily accessible and navigable by all users, regardless of age or disability.
  • Adaptability and clarity: the design of the site has been optimised to adapt to various screen resolutions and to separate content from visual presentation.
  • Intuitive navigation: links and images include clear descriptions to enhance the user experience and facilitate navigation.
  • Accessibility standards: an effort is made to comply with W3C accessibility criteria and maintain commitment to double AA standards.

The site is compatible with technologies employed by users, such as versions and types of web browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

Work in progress

CCS remains committed to continuous improvement and is currently prioritising:

  • Correcting the structure and hierarchy of headings on all pages.
  • Reviewing and appropriately naming all iframes present.
