Details and reasons for the claim. Once it has been validated, on the new screen all the available identification details of the claimant ("Claimant details"), that are not modifiable in this procedure will appear. One of the three action possibilities in this internet method must then be chosen: as claimant, astutor, or as representative. Once a tutor, or a representative has been selected, a series of fields referring to the identification of the person in question will appear on the form and the identification details and residence information for this person must be introduced. In order to make this task easier and to ensure that these details are valid, users have a series of assistants at their disposal that help to select the localisation data based on information from the National Statistics Institute. Each of the assistants may be accessed through the corresponding buttons identified with a question mark. The assistants available are: Provinces, Towns, Roads, Types of road and Post Codes.
The tutor or the representative must present a document signed by the interested party that authorises them to file the claim in their name. The abovementioned document will be attached according to the indications under the following heading "Attach Documents".
In the case of any further information wishing to be added to the claim that does not fit in the field of "Reasons", the "Attach Documents", options may be used, adding the desired files in the window that opens, (including the claimant's authorisation document in the case of acting as a tutor or legal representative).
To attach a new document to the claim, click on the Review button, select the desired file and then click on Attach File. If no errors occur in the process, the new document will appear on the list of attached files.
The attached documents can be checked by clicking on the file name to download them and confirm that they are correct, or eliminating them by clicking on the corresponding "Delete" link.
Currently, the requirements that allow a document to be satisfactorily attached are as follows:
- Access as claimant. The corresponding email and the "Reasons" for the claim (lower box) must be directly introduced by the person in question.
- Access as a tutor or a representative. For different reasons, the claimant might be represented by a tutor or by a legal representative. In order to do this, there is the option to indicate this case and introduce the details of either the tutor or representative. Only one of these options may be selected (either tutor or representative); under no circumstances can both be selected at the same time:
- Attaching Documents
- They must not exceed 2MB in size
- The document must have one of the following extensions: DOC, PDF, XLS, JPEG, JPG, PNG, XML, PPT, GIF, BMP, TXT.
