BRIEFING NOTE ON THE ENTRY INTO LIQUIDATION OF THE ENTITY “MONTEPÍO DE TELÉFONOS, MUTUALIDAD DE PROVISIÓN SOCIAL”

By Order ECM/545/2025 of 9 May 2025 (Official State Gazette No. 130 of 30 May), the administrative authorisation for the insurance activity of Montepío de Teléfonos, Mutualidad de Previsión Social (MONTEPÍO DE TELÉFONOS) was revoked and its liquidation was entrusted to Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros (CCS). The entity's General Assembly, held on 28 February 2025, had agreed to its voluntary dissolution and, previously, the General Assembly held on 11 December 2024, agreed to the early expiry of the insurance guarantees with effect from 31 December 2024.

Conforme al artículo 229 del Real Decreto 1060/2015, de 20 de noviembre, de ordenación, supervisión y solvencia de entidades aseguradoras y reaseguradoras, constatada la solvencia de la entidad aseguradora en liquidación, el Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros ha llevado a cabo el proceso de liquidación según lo dispuesto en el capítulo II del Título VII de la Ley 20/2015, de 14 de julio, y sus normas de desarrollo. Así, ha abonado sus créditos con cargo a sus fondos propios a medida que éstos eran líquidos y exigibles, sin necesidad de junta de acreedores.

MUTUALIDAD DE PREVISIÓN SOCIAL A PRINA FIJA, DE EMPLEADOS DE LA CAJA DE AHORROS DE VALENCIA (En liquidación)

Conforme al artículo 229 del Real Decreto 1060/2015, de 20 de noviembre, de ordenación, supervisión y solvencia de entidades aseguradoras y reaseguradoras, constatada la solvencia de la entidad aseguradora en liquidación, el Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros ha llevado a cabo el proceso de liquidación según lo dispuesto en el capítulo II del Título VII de la Ley 20/2015, de 14 de julio, y sus normas de desarrollo. Así, ha abonado sus créditos con cargo a sus fondos propios a medida que éstos eran líquidos y exigibles, sin necesidad de junta de acreedores. Satisfechos todos los créditos y los derivados de gastos de liquidación, se han consignado en depósito los no reclamados a disposición de sus legítimos dueños durante el plazo de veinte años en el propio Consorcio, transcurrido el cual sin haber sido reclamados se ingresarán en el Tesoro Público.

All the unknown creditors of Mutualidad Escolar de Previsión Social of the school: Paraíso de los Sagrados Corazones de Madrid, in liquidation (CIF V78114840 and key MPS 2958) are informed that, in accordance with that set forth in article 185.4 of the law 20/2015, of the 14th of July, on arrangement, supervision and solvency of assurance and reassurance entities (LOSSEAR in its Spanish initials) by a resolution of the 21st of May, 2024, the General Directorate for the Self-Employed and Entrepreneurs within the Department of Economy, Treasury and Employment of the Community of Madrid (CMOG No. 158, of the 4th of July) declared the resolution of this same Directorate dated the 27th of February to be in full force and effect, by virtue of which the administrative authorisation for the insurance activity of the aforementioned Mutualidad was revoked, with its liquidation being entrusted to the CONSORCIO DE COMPENSACIÓN DE SEGUROS.

The General Directorate of Self-employment and Enterprise of the Council of Economy, Taxation and Employment of the Community of Madrid, according to the Resolution of the 27th of February, 2024, agreed to inscribe the liquidation of the organisation “MUTUALIDAD ESCOLAR DE PREVISIÓN SOCIAL DEL COLEGIO PARAISO DE LOS SAGRADOS CORAZONES DE MADRID” on the Register of Social Benefit Mutual Societies that are not integrated into the Social Security of the aforementioned Regional Community, the revocation of its administrative authorisation for its insurance activity and the inscription of the appointment of the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros as the official receiver.

In accordance with article 229 of the Royal Decree 1060/2015, of the 20th of November, on the arrangement, supervision and solvency of insurance and reassurance bodies, having confirmed the solvency of the insurance company that is in liquidation, the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros has carried out the liquidation process as set forth in Chapter II of Title VII of the aforementioned Royal Decree and its implementing provisions.

The unknown creditors of Mutua Nacional de Ingenieros Técnicos de Previsión Social a Prima Fija, Mutualidad de Previsión Social, MUNITEC, undergoing liquidation proceedings (Fiscal Identification Code: V08465098 and password P3164), which, in accordance with that set forth in article 185.4 of the Law 20/2015, of the 14th of July, on Organisation, supervision and solvency of insurance and reassurance companies (LOSSEAR), by Order ETD/885/2023, of the 14th of July (OSG No. 179 of the 28th of July) agreed to entrust the liquidation of the abovementioned entity to the CONSORCIO DE COMPENSACIÓN DE SEGUROS.

By Order ETD/885//2023 of the 14th of July, 2023 (OSG of the 28th of July, 2023) and at the request of the General Directorate for Insurance and Pension Funds, an agreement was reached for the winding-up of the Mutualidad Nacional de Ingenieros Técnicos de Previsión Social a Prima Fija, Mutualidad de Previsión Social (MUNITEC), the revocation of its administrative authorisation for exercising any insurance activity and its liquidation was entrusted to the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros (CCS).
