The Consorcio is an insurer for the accidents produced in Forest Fires, with any person who has an accident whilst taking part in the extinction work of forest fires being insured by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.

In the case of an incident, the accident victim, the beneficiary, representative or heir, in the case of death, must file, as soon as possible, the correct claim for compensation to the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros.
