Online consultation of the file status

This consultation method, in addition to that available through the Consorcio's Call Centre (900 222 665 –from Spain only- or +34 952 367 042), is available for those interested in checking the status of a property damage or business interruption claim filed with Consorcio.

In order to access this information, the user will need to know the Fiscal Identification Number or Tax ID of one of the following participants in the file procedure: claimant, insured party, policyholder, beneficiary or owner. You must also know the complete number of the file of which processing status is to be checked.

Following this, if the data introduced are correct, the processing status of the claim to which it is associated, with the description of the procedure, its current status and its starting date will be shown.

The possible statuses are the following:

  • Review prior to delivery to the loss adjuster or resolution.
  • Delivered to the loss adjuster.
  • First contact made by the loss adjuster.
  • First visit made by the loss adjuster.
  • Appraisal performed, in review prior to the resolution.
  • Settled, claim refused.
  • Settled, compensation authorised.
  • Settled, transfer ordered.
  • Settled, transfer ordered and returned by bank.
