Consorcio has been entrusted the function of protection of creditors by insurance contract (insured persons, beneficiaries and third parties) in case the regulator orders the liquidation of an insolvent insurance company, or the own company voluntarily asks for its dissolution.
A communication is made to the unknown creditors of SERAS, Mutualidad de Seguros a Prima Fija, in liquidation (Fiscal Identification Code: V28378180 and key M0353), which in accordance with that set forth in article 185.4 of the Law 20/2015, of the 14th of July, on the management, supervision and creditworthiness of assurance and reassurance companies (LOSSEAR in its Spanish initials),by Order ETD/1176/2020, of the 26th of November (OSG number. 321 of the 9th of December) agreed to recommend the liquidation of the abovementioned body to the CONSORCIO DE COMPENSACIÓN DE SEGUROS.

You should also know that the Consorcio covers up to the legal limit of the Compulsory insurance in force on the date when the claim occurred.
The rest of the amount not covered by the Compulsory Insurance for Motor Vehicles will be the amount that the CCS itself in its liquidating function will take into consideration in the liquidation and therefore it will offer, at the approved percentage, the acquisition of your credit.
