Consorcio is the insurer of last resource of compulsory motor car third-party liability insurance for vehicles rejected by the market, as well as for fleets of any public body that requesting this cover. It is also the guarantee fund for damages caused by unknown, uninsured or stolen vehicles.
Can I divide the payment of the premium up into several instalments?
No. The receipt must be paid in a single payment at any office of the BBVA or of the Banco Santander, from 9 am to 11.30 am, from Monday to Friday, within the period of 15 natural days from the date of the contracting of the policy and when the insurance has been contracted electronically, the premium will be paid using a bank card during the contracting process.
