Consorcio is the insurer of last resource of compulsory motor car third-party liability insurance for vehicles rejected by the market, as well as for fleets of any public body that requesting this cover. It is also the guarantee fund for damages caused by unknown, uninsured or stolen vehicles.
The Insurance Companies are delaying and they haven't given me the rejection communications. What can I do?
The Regulation for the Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance obliges the insurance companies that reject or do not accept to contract the compulsory insurance to inform the interested party by any means accepted by law (Article 5.2 of the Regulation for the compulsory civil liability insurance in motor vehicles, approved by the Royal Decree 1507/2008, of the 12th of September, O.S.G. of the 13th of September, 2008).
