In accordance with the Regulations on Extraordinary Risks Insurance and the Insurance Contract Act, in order to receive compensation arising from extraordinary risks (extraordinary flooding), it is essential to have a damage insurance policy in force on the date of the loss occurrence, and therefore to have paid the premium before the date of occurrence. Thus, the renewal of the insurance policy by the policyholder at the current date does not affect the collection of compensation for losses occurring prior to the expiration date of the policy.
