Whenever possible, the damaged goods should remain at the disposal of the expert appraiser in charge of the valuation of the damages, as all the insurance policies establish. If this is not possible and the remains must be removed to a tip, try to take photographs before their removal and/or draw up a notarial certificate. If any authority were to order the removal of the remains, try to ensure that the corresponding certificate or document describing the operation performed is supplied to you.
