In the event of deterioration or destruction of the damaged property, or if urgent repairs are carried out prior to the loss adjuster’s visit, the insured must retain:

• The remains of the damaged property for the loss adjuster to inspect; if this is not possible, take photographs before the items are removed.
• Invoices in the event that any urgent repairs need to be made.
