The requirements to be able to access the FIVA are:

• being a medical centre or an emergency medical service in the public or private sector.
• having in force a convention for medical treatment of persons injured in traffic accidents with the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros and the insurance companies.
• applying for the information contained in the FIVA in accordance with the purpose that the law has entrusted to the database, solely for the handling of the expenses derived from the provision of medical treatment to persons injured in traffic accidents.
