The Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros has its own capital, independent to that of the State. Its revenue is formed by its premiums, its surcharges and the product of its investments, and as with any other insurance company, it constitutes the corresponding technical provisions and it upholds a solvency margin. Being a public entity, the CCS does not depend on the budgets of any Public Administration.
Amongst its assets, the Consorcio has significant real estate, mainly formed by office buildings in Madrid and Barcelona. The entity's investment strategy is aimed at the acquisition of properties with maximum quality and representativeness in the best areas, and their leasing to important public and private institutional clients.
